Peruvian Coffee Day: A Driver of Growth, Quality, and Global Exports

Coffee is one of the most emblematic pillars of Peru’s agricultural sector. On Peruvian Coffee Day, the sector pays tribute to more than 223,000 coffee-growing families, as well as the technical advisors and professionals across the value chain who strengthen Peruvian coffee’s presence in international markets.

The progress and positioning of Peruvian coffee are the result of coordinated efforts between producers and leading institutions such as the Peruvian Chamber of Coffee and Cocoa, the National Coffee Board, the Association of Exporters (ADEX), and the Ministry of Agricultural Development and Irrigation (MIDAGRI), all of which work to strengthen competitiveness, trade promotion, and the sustainable development of coffee production.

A Historic Milestone for Coffee Exports

Peru’s coffee sector is experiencing unprecedented growth. In 2025, coffee exports reached a historic high of more than US$1.79 billion and reached more than 50 international markets. Thanks to this performance, Peru has solidified its position as the world’s ninth-largest exporter of conventional coffee.

Agricultural Solutions for Yield and Plant Health

To sustain and build on this growth, technological innovation and field support are essential. In this context, solutions for plant nutrition, crop health, and agricultural biostimulation help strengthen crops against climate-related challenges and the demands of the global market:
