Chemical Formula According to technical data sheet
Hydroxylated acrylic resins are functional acrylic polymers that incorporate hydroxyl groups (–OH) into their structure, designed for chemical curing systems, primarily through reaction with isocyanates or other crosslinking agents. From a technical perspective, they are characterized by their high reactivity, excellent film formation, and crosslinking capacity, resulting in coatings with high chemical resistance, high hardness, good flexibility, and excellent resistance to weathering and UV radiation. They also exhibit very good gloss and color retention in demanding applications. These resins are mainly used in two-component (2K) polyurethane systems for industrial, automotive, marine, and protective coatings, where maximum mechanical and chemical performance and long-term durability are required.
70% hydroxylated acrylic resin OH 4.2 in butyl acetate for single/two-layer top coat (high quality). Excellent adhesion to various substrates, good outdoor durability, and excellent mechanical properties.
