Chemical Formula According to technical data sheet
Thermoplastic acrylic resins are linear polymers derived from acrylic and methacrylic monomers, characterized by their solubility in organic solvents and lack of crosslinking. They are primarily used in solvent-based systems for paints and coatings. From a technical standpoint, they offer high transparency and gloss, excellent resistance to UV radiation and weathering, good surface hardness, fast drying, and broad compatibility with pigments and additives. They maintain color stability and mechanical performance in exterior and industrial applications. They are used in industrial and architectural coatings, lacquers, varnishes, and finishes for metal and plastic, where aesthetic performance, durability, and ease of formulation are required.
